You deserve to feel heard

you are worthy of feeling better

What to Expect When Working With Us.

  • ONE

We'll start with a brief phone conversation so that your therapist can get a sense of the kind of support that you are looking for. She will ask for some basic information to get to know you and also use this time to answer any questions that you might have. If it feels like we are a good fit for working together, we will schedule our first appointment.

  • TWO

Following your free 15-minute telephone consultation you will meet with your therapist who will offer a 50-minute initial assessment. The purpose of an initial assessment is to learn about your situation and goals for therapy.

  • THREE

The length and number of sessions will differ depending on your goals and needs for therapy. For some, a handful of sessions to address an acute issue will be enough, versus, others may need consistent, weekly sessions for months or years depending on their needs. We can discuss this in further detail to ensure you are receiving the support that you are looking for.

HOW WE CAN WORK TOGETHER

  • One-on-one treatment adapted to you. A typical session is 50 minutes long. Different people need different levels of support. Let’s talk about whether you would be best served by weekly, bi-weekly, or some other frequency of treatment.

  • The health of our relationships is crucial to our overall well-being. An unbiased third-party can help you and your partner handle and reduce conflict, increase healthy communication styles, increase connection and intimacy and enhance quality of relationship.

  • If your child is having a tough time at home, school, or in their social lives, therapy can help them thrive now and in the future. We strive to create a comfortable space where kids and teens can feel safe and understood.

  • Parent coaching is a specialized form of support designed to help parents navigate the challenges of raising children. We help parents understand the connection between emotional development and all behavior by promoting independence, cooperation and deepening a child’s relationships with parents, siblings, teachers, and peers.
